It has never been more true that at Jumia “we aim at winning the love of our users” – both buyers and sellers, hence the introduction of the Fast Shipment Reward program.
What is it?
The Jumia Fast Shipment Reward program is an initiative that aims at ameliorating end-users satisfaction by shipping orders quicker and rewarding vendors for doing so.
With the increased competition within the e-service field, providing quality and fast service has become a prerequisite in order to generate satisfaction and gain reliability, and to be able to do so, vendors’ participation is a must-have.
How does it work?
Basically, we will look into 2 elements:
- The share of orders shipped in less than 24 hours per vendor
- The share of orders shipped in less than 12 hours per vendor
and for each vendor who will have scored 75%+ of orders shipped in less than 12 hours or 75%+ shipped in less than 24 hours during the previous week, there will be a 10% to 20% bonus commission as a reward.
ie:
- If today is 2022W40, the computation will be done based on orders shipped during 2022W39 and Commission collected that same week
- If the total amount of commission collected during 2022W39 is GHS 1,000 then in the case…
- Vendor X shipped 75%+ of his orders that same week in less than 24 hours, he’ll be credited GHS 100 on 2021W40
- Vendor X shipped 75%+ of his orders that same week in less than 12 hours, he’ll be credited GHS 200 on 2021W40
ONLY FOR DROP SHIPPING ORDERS!!
Orders fulfilled by Jumia are not eligible for this, as well as commissions collected from Jumia Express items.
How do I know I qualified for it?
Very simply! Knowing that it’s a weekly reward, there is a weekly communication (email/SMS, etc…) to every qualifying vendor with the detail of the bonus they’ve earned. If you haven’t noted that communication yet, it probably means you haven’t qualified for it yet.
But don’t be discouraged! You can make the first step to qualify for this onwards by improving your shipment delay immediately with the next order(s) you will receive. Ready?…
