To join Jumia Express or Create Consignment:
– Sellers need to have a score greater than or equal to 4.
– Sellers with age less than or equal to 30 days can create a consignment regardless of their score.
After accessing Vendor Center:
Step 1
– From Products menu choose the new sub menu item “Fulfillment by Jumia” and click on “Bulk creation” Button.
Step 2
Export the valid products of a country.
– Select shop for consignment.
– Select country / warehouse of consignment.
– Click on “Download Products” to download a file of Products eligible for consignment, where you’ll find the columns:
– Jumia SKU
– SellerSKU
– Quantity : empty
OR: you can click on “Download Template” to download an empty products template.
Only active countries on selected shop will be displayed, so You can only create a CO if your shop is active in selected country.
Step 3
Import the catalog.
– For the products you want to send to Jumia warehouse add the Quantity.
– Save your changes in the file.
– Import the file by dropping it in the designated area – “Drop your file here“.
You can only add a limited number of products to a single CO which is 2000 products.
Step 4
Monitor the import in the Import History.
On the import history table you can:
– Check the progress and status of imported files
– Download the original uploaded file
– Download the error report if the status is failed, by click on “Download error report” icon
The Status can be:
– Pending: The file is not being processed yet.
– In progress: The file is being processed.
– Completed: All products in the file were successfully created.
– Failed: One or more products failed to be created. The Error Report is available in the Progress column
Note:
If seller is not eligible to create consignment he will received error message “You are currently not eligible to use the fulfilment by Jumia service. Please raise a claim here for our commercial team to review your eligibility.”

To check the consignments list, do the following;
>> From Products menu choose the new sub menu item “Fulfillment by Jumia” to see a list of consignments
You can see a list of consignments with the CO number ( PO number sent by OMS), The user who created the CO, the number of items and total price
Note;
Total Price of consignment order equal sum of the quantities price for all products inside the consignment order
If you select one CO you can see the shipping information tab with (shipping status, tracking number, 3PL name, Delivery agent Phone number, actual departure date and estimated time of arrival)
If you select on Details tab, The Details of consignment tab is displayed with (businessClientCode, createdAt, deliveryType and comment)
If you select on Products tab, The products of consignment tab is displayed with Products name, SKU, price, number of submitted products and number of received products.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
The “Fulfillment by Jumia” allows sellers to ensure faster package delivery to the customer and low cancellation rate due to out of stock
As a seller, I want to know about the stock values of my products, which are currently in the warehouse.
Stock Overview
From “Products” menu choose the new sub menu item “Fulfillment by Jumia” and choose “FBJ Inventory” to see paginated list of all your products in consignment with the stock details.
The product would be listed with the
Name: Product name of the inbounded product.
Seller SKU: Seller SKU of the inbounded product.
Country
Available Units: Corresponds to the items that can still be sold
Reserved Units: Corresponds to shipped items
Replenish: If the available stock is below the 20, the seller would have an option to create a consignment for that specific product by defining the quantity of the item. As soon as the quantity is provided, a Consignment order will be created for that item and Jumia would be expecting to receive the items in the selected warehouse post inbound scheduling
You can view your product details from FBJ Inventory page by clicking on a product name of a product in the list -> You will be redirected to the product details page
Replenishment
You are able to replenish an item with low stock by creating a new consignment
Only low stock products can be replenished
So if the product ‘s quantity is more than 20 => button for toggling product replenishment will be disabled.
It will be only enabled if it is less than 20.
! Warning message: If edit button is clicked, then you will be prompted to enter replenishment quantity and submit.
After click you can input the quantity to replenish then submit => A message is displayed stating that the stock values will be reflected shortly.
On the filters, the first active shop on the mastershop is selected and first active country of the shop is selected by default.
So if you select a country from the dropdown, the inventory list will be refreshed with products from the selected country.
And you have also an option to search for a specific product stock by its seller sku.
If you type an existing seller sku on the product search input => A dropdown with products is displayed for selection.
When you select one (click on a product on the dropdown) => The inventory list is refreshed with that product.
Why Consignment Creation can fail?
- You’re not allowed to perform actions for that shop.
- User is authenticated but does not have permission to access.
- Seller does not have an eligible seller score or seller age.
- The Quantity of each individual item can’t be more than 10k.
- Failed to create consignment order creation request for warehouse service.
